5 THINGS TO WRITE ABOUT IN YOUR JOURNAL
Journaling has almost become a lost pastime due to everything being so tech savvy. Almost everything we need is on our mobile devices, but the “old fashioned way” is just as good by using a pen and paper. Some things just need to be written down, not typed. Written things are always more personable than any texted word, and that’s why I want journaling to be something we all do to help us emotionally, spiritually and mentally.
Here are a few things you can write about in your journal daily:
1. YOUR DAY
So much can happen in a day! Why not jot it down?! From what happened at work, at school or with close friends & family, there’s definitely something exciting to write about.
2. ISSUES & SOLUTIONS
We all have issues. We all have problems. Instead of venting all of your issues to “listening ears”, journal it. Not only should you journal the problem, but journal the solution to the problem.
3. PLANS & IDEAS
There’s a million dollar idea just floating around in your mind that if you write it out on paper it’ll begin to make more sense! You can journal your plan to succeed, upcoming birthday plans, uncommon ideas, and more!
4. MEMORIES
Mental notes can be forgotten, but written words will always strike a memory… What’s the earliest memory you can think of? What made you happy? What favorite memory can you journal??
5. POETRY & AFFIRMATIONS
Poetry and affirmations are soothing and calming for the reader & listener. Let your creativity flow by writing a poem and a motivating thought in your journal. When you go back and re-read each page it’ll bring more inspiration and motivation for pursuing a positive life.
